Heritage walk

This morning as soon as school started we had turanga health people took us on a heritage walk. We learnt about the 3 rivers, Turanganui, Waimata, and Taruheru. Also as we were walking we went past different statues that had a lot of stories and history behind them. At the end we played a game that you really need to pay attention to.

Financial Literacy

This morning Marlon from ASB bank came in and taught us about financial literacy. We played a game about flying to Fiji and we had to learn how to spend our wisely. For example if you didn't get insurance, you would go into dept because you didn't have enough money to pay for your accident.

Tairawhiti seawall

  Artist: Pogo
You can find this seawall on 377 palmerston road
Seawalls are images around town with important messages saying we need to take care of our ocean. I chose this image because it shows that sealife is in danger because of us people and we need to do something about that.Whales are getting stranded because they are trying to escape from pollution. What I see in this image is a human stopping the whale from living its life they way it should.

Shop day

Shop day is for each hub to raise money for the end of term activities. This is what our hub has got to offer. We hope to make a profit not a loss.

Netiquette

We were learning about cyber safety. I found it easy to make the slides. I found it hard to remember all the instructions. I really enjoyed making the avatar. Next time I need to pay more attention to the instructions. My Blog Post shows I am Stepping Up .
